Gee, Who Would've Guessed...

...that taxes might have an effect on people's behaviour? Apparently, this idea doesn't occur to politicians until they are "hit up side the head" by it, as they say down in my home county. This is a wonderful example of competition between governments, and people voting with their wallets.
