Automakers are rushing to equip cars with "black boxes," data recorders that will record driving information when an accident occurs. That's now. Pretty soon they'll record everything, all the time. Then it's just a matter of time before the government gets the bright idea of checking the info (probably at vehicle emissions inspections or random roadblocks), and issuing tickets for instances of speeding recorded by the box. Maybe you won't even have to stop--they could just scan your box as you drive by, like an electronic toll booth. Read the story here.
