Barbour County's Clio shows off its history

Here is an article from the Mobile Register on the Barbour County town of Clio. Not sure what prompted an article in the Register. No real news here, but still interesting. My hometown is just a few miles from Clio. Can anyone who's seen the mural tell me why Debra Jackson painted a dark cloud over George Wallace's head? Is it some sort of symbolism or merely an artistic flourish?
