The Jon Daley show (which I don't watch often, but it was on last night) said something like this, when talking about the Terry Schiavo case (which you should do a blog on!).
The Republicans were all about state's rights when they were only in charge of the states. Then they got in charge of the federal goverment. And now they're all about federal supremacy.
