Richard C.B. Johnsson makes an interesting case for letting each person choose the law under which he will be governed, rather than retaining the present territorial monopoly of nation-states (which has lots of unpleasant side effects).

This is, to my knowledge, the first time that any substantial part of Davis' Rise and Fall has been made available online. This extract is a masterful exposition of the compact theory of the Constitution, by a man who would have been tried for treason had the U.S. government not thought it would lose the case.
